There comes a moment in our lives when we realize we've spent more time looking at ourselves through the eyes of others than through our own.
We've been photographed.
We've been perceived.
We've been evaluated.
But we've rarely been witnessed without someone wanting something in return.
The Ladygroove Experience was created as a different kind of portrait session—a private artistic experience where your body is not a problem to solve, but a landscape to explore.
This is not about becoming someone new. Geez Louise. No mam, it is not.
It's about meeting the version of yourself that's been waiting patiently beneath performance, expectation, shame, or simply the busyness of life.
Whether you're celebrating a milestone, moving through grief, reclaiming your sensuality after illness or divorce, honoring gender expression, marking a new season, or simply curious about seeing yourself differently, Ladygroove offers a safe landing place for honest expression.

Your Experience

Before your session you'll receive a thoughtful questionnaire exploring your relationship with your body, creativity, pleasure, identity, and the story you'd like this artwork to tell.

We'll gather inspiration, create a custom Pinterest board and playlist, then meet for a private Zoom to bring your vision to life.

Your session begins with an optional Reiki attunement and body blessing—a quiet ritual designed to help you settle into your body, soften self-consciousness, and arrive fully present.

What I've learned is this:
Transformation rarely begins when the camera comes out.
It begins the moment someone feels safe enough to tell the truth.
That's why every experience begins long before you ever arrive at the studio.
Together prior to your session we'll dream, collaborate, ask meaningful questions, and create artwork that reflects not just how you look—but who you're becoming.
You don't need modeling experience.
You don't need confidence.
You don't even need to know exactly what you're looking for.
You simply need a willingness to be curious.
